In the year 2046, a group of laborers chanced upon a subterranean cavern adorned with cryptic runes, otherworldly flora, and a vast array of exotic minerals. At the heart of this hidden cave stood an ancient yet resplendent temple, bathed in the shimmering light of a peculiar liquid that would become known as Flow and the dim glow of a viscous substance people would call Flux. These mystical elixirs held untold powers, with Growth able to nurture and heal any living being and Flux able to reshape any inanimate matter.

The scholars of the age were captivated by the newfound marvels and set about unraveling their mysteries. In time, their efforts bore fruit as they replicated the temple's secrets, crafting Pseudo Nexuses that brought prosperity and advancement to mankind. Yet, these marvelous creations proved disastrous when the unstable products of these false Nexuses unleashed catastrophe upon the world. The Flow and Flux of many of the man-made Nexuses was corrupted, and began to bring unimaginable mutations and disarray to anything they had touched, causing the collapse of the civilizations that had grown to rely so much on these god like substances.

Amid the remnants of a once-great civilization, the survivors gathered around the few untainted Nexuses, seeking solace and protection from the encroaching chaos. But the allure of power proved too great, and the Nexus Wars erupted as fractured factions vied for dominance over their counterparts. Battle lines were drawn, and men and women wielded the volatile, supernatural might of Flow and Flux in their desperate struggle for survival.
