The world of gaming continues evolving rapidly. Yet amidst the technological strides lies an often overlooked revolution – the ascendance of vibrant gaming communities as fundamental forces steering future growth. NEXUS, an innovative multiplayer game, has embraced this community-centric, collaborative spirit. Its latest major update cements its reputation as one of the most community-driven games, where each player's voice and contribution are valued and integral to our growth.
Fostering continuous dialogue, team members and players actively discuss updates, balancing and new features on Discord. This constant exchange of insights and ideas between the team and community is the lifeblood driving NEXUS' evolution.
With the long-awaited introduction of ranked matchmaking, NEXUS allows players to test their skills against equally capable opponents. Starting in Bronze, competitors can climb the ranks, with their matchmaking rating (MMR) rising steadily toward the coveted Master tier as their prowess grows. Alongside these rankings comes a rework of NEXUS' play-and-earn system, granting higher-ranked combatants up to 1.9x earnings multipliers. As ranked play matures, NEXUS seems poised to spearhead a thriving competitive scene, offering an exciting new challenge for the community.
Unlike traditional game production, NEXUS incorporates community feedback deeply within its evolution. Weapons balancing, ranked mode upgrades, skins and more all directly reflect player perspectives. This development cycle fosters unprecedented creative ownership throughout the NEXUS community. Veterans and newcomers alike feel invested in the game they help guide.
Numerous improvements continue to advance the NEXUS gameplay experience, enhancing mechanical satisfaction and strategic potential. Entirely reworked weapons now sport unique spray patterns alongside impactful passives, massively expanding combat dynamics. Each weapon now has a distinct feel and playstyle, adding depth and variety to the game. Meanwhile, overhauled status effects like Frostbite and Ablaze make counters and synergies more logical. Complete with visual and audio polish, these changes make moment-to-moment action more immersive, drawing players deeper into the game world.
You can check out the complete list of patch notes on the NEXUS game page here for all the in-depth details.
Alongside favourites like the Laser Gun and Grenade Launcher, new armaments like the Pump Shotgun provide fresh, aggressive playstyle options, while revised tools like the Healing Gun grow more versatile through additional functionality. Players can also express themselves through new cosmetic skins like the Turtle and Bear, now available in the NEXUS store.
A significant new introduction is the P2E Pass - an upfront purchase required to participate in NEXUS' play-and-earn system. The Pass can be purchased in the NFT Store on the dApp and is designed to deter botting and exploitation, ensuring legitimate competitive play is rewarded. Exemptions exist for Master Node holders and VI3 members who have already demonstrated commitment.
The developers' commitment to community-guided growth sets the stage for long-term success. This potent fusion of passionate creators supporting an active player base represents gaming's future. NEXUS blazes forward boldly at the vanguard of such innovation. Your voice matters in this journey. Your ideas and feedback shape the future of NEXUS. Together, we can create a gaming experience that is truly ours.
At its core, NEXUS is more than just a game – it's a platform powered by cooperation where skills, strategy and participation are rewarded. As gaming moves toward more interactive environments, NEXUS leads by example, showcasing how communities and creators can collectively raise the ceiling of what's possible. United by this shared vision, NEXUS' future shines bright.

TAKE3, 28 February 2025
Web3 development brings a revolutionary shift in the gaming industry, empowering players with ownership, control, and the opportunity for financial reward. In this blog, we examine the core reasons driving this paradigm shift, examining the transition from traditional Web2 models to Web3 gaming platforms like those we are building here at PLAYA3ULL GAMES. We also discuss balancing play-to-earn mechanics and navigating regulatory uncertainty, highlighting the path towards realising this exciting new gaming era's full potential.
Game on!
Web3 gaming platforms leverage blockchain technology to empower players. This decentralisation allows players to truly own their in-game items, represented as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), which can be used across different games and virtual worlds, helping to foster the concept of interoperability.
A key driver for Web3 gaming's rise is the play-to-earn (P2E) model. This innovative approach allows players to generate real-world value through gameplay, transforming gaming from a hobby into a potential source of income. By participating in the game's ecosystem, players can earn cryptocurrencies or NFTs, which can then be traded or sold. Games like NEXUS give out 2.1 million 3ULL coins weekly to the players.
Smart Contracts are self-executing agreements written in code that automate in-game processes and lead to enhanced levels of trust and fairness. This transparency fosters a more equitable and engaging gaming environment. While challenges still remain (scalability and user adoption being some of the largest), the potential for Web3 technology to revolutionise the gaming industry is undeniable.
The potential of Web3 gaming hinges on the delivery of engaging experiences that transcend tokenisation and P2E opportunities. Fun and compelling gameplay will always remain paramount to any committed gamer. Web3 elements should enhance the core experience, focusing on memorable moments and satisfying progression.
A sustainable in-game economy is crucial for longevity. Platforms must balance asset creation and consumption while preventing inflation and immediate selling. This isn’t going to be easy. Regular monitoring and adjustment are key, along with ‘sink mechanisms’ that remove assets from circulation.
Innovative gameplay mechanics that leverage blockchain technology are essential for Web3 gaming success. Beyond tokenising assets, platforms should explore decentralised world-building, provable randomness for fair systems, and dynamic narratives driven by player actions.
Seamless onboarding is also vital for mainstream adoption. Intuitive tutorials, smooth wallet creation, and the abstraction of complex crypto elements are crucial for a positive first-time user experience.
As we all know, a thriving community is the backbone of any successful platform. Social features, regular events, clear communication channels, and user feedback systems help foster greater levels of engagement and trust. This is why our Supporta3ULLS Discord community does a great job helping all players with issues or queries.
Effective incentive design is crucial for driving user behaviour within the Web3 gaming platform. At its core, it leverages the principle that rewards and encourages specific actions. Effective incentive systems align user motivations with project goals, helping to foster increased levels of growth and user engagement. It is generally accepted that a well-designed system should incentivise positive contributions and discourage negative actions.
The first step in incentive design is the identification of desired behaviours, such as holding tokens, participating in governance, or contributing to platform development. Incentives can then be structured to reward these actions, while penalties can deter undesirable behaviour.
Financial rewards, access to exclusive resources, or even recognition can all serve as effective motivators. The overall tokenomics of the Web3 gaming platform, including supply, demand, and value, should also be carefully considered. Creating network effects, such as rewarding early adopters, can further boost user participation.
A number of innovative incentive mechanisms currently exist. With new concepts being added everyday, P2E gamers can choose from learn-to-earn, move-to-earn, play-to-own, play-to-earn, rent-to-earn, travel-to-earn, share-to-earn, and wellness-to-earn.
As you can see, each mechanism caters to different user motivations, from acquiring knowledge to achieving fitness goals.
Ignoring incentives can be detrimental and lead to low user participation, lack of motivation, and potential security risks. Therefore, a balanced approach that combines compelling incentives with a valuable product or service is key to long-term success.
Web3 gaming faces a complex set of challenges. Whilst balancing ‘play’ and ‘earn’ remains paramount, games must be engaging and fun and not solely focused on financial rewards. Striking this balance is crucial for long-term player retention.
User experience is another major hurdle. Onboarding must be simplified, making wallet connections and account setup. Understanding blockchain mechanics is intuitive for ‘non-crypto’ players. It goes without saying that seamless fiat on/off-ramps are essential for mainstream adoption, allowing players to easily convert traditional currency to cryptocurrency and vice-versa.
The shift towards player ownership requires careful design to align incentives between developers and players. This can be achieved through revenue-sharing models, player-owned governance systems, or decentralised autonomous organisations (DAOs). Economic sustainability is also critical, requiring balanced tokenomics, controlled inflation, and mechanisms to maintain asset value.
Developers must shift focus from pre-sale NFTs to creating high-quality gameplay experiences. Building and nurturing active communities is also vital for success. This involves fostering open communication, incorporating player feedback, and creating a sense of shared ownership among Web3 gamers.
Improved blockchain scalability is also needed to handle increased transaction volumes and ensure smooth gameplay. PLAYA3ULL GAMES has custom-built a blockchain that caters specifically for Web3 video games and the scalability required for success. Enhanced graphics, VR/AR integration, and metaverse development will all help create more immersive experiences, pushing the boundaries of game design.
Web3 gaming represents more than a technological upgrade; it fundamentally changes the relationship between players and games. While challenges like scalability and user adoption remain, the core principles of ownership, transparency, and community-driven development offer a compelling vision for the future of interactive entertainment.
By blurring the lines between entertainment and active participation in a dynamic digital world, Web3 gaming platforms like PLAYA3ULL GAMES are forever changing the world's most popular pastime.

PLAYA3ULL GAMES is committed to giving its players the most fun and engaging crypto gaming experience, and with these new upgrades, the community is already buzzing!

In-game levels and new upgrades
Defeating enemies, minions, and neutrals now grants experience points. When passing set thresholds, you will level up to Level 13.
Levelling up grants additional maximum health, mana and a slight boost to material and quantum damage.
Players gain an ability point when they level up.
Abilities are no longer purchased from the shop. Instead, you can open the ability store at any time and purchase or upgrade them with an ability point.
Abilities can no longer be sold.
Basic abilities now have five levels, and ultimate abilities have three levels.
Ultimate abilities purchase and upgrade are only available at player levels 5, 9, and 13.
Shortcut: to upgrade an ability without opening the store, press Left-ALT + Ability Key (Q, E, or T).
Updated bounty system to also track death streaks, reducing the amount a player awards on death the more they die.
Introduced wards that grant vision for a set duration around them on the mini-map.
Each player can place one ward with a cooldown after placement. Placing another ward before the last one has expired destroys the older ward.

Weapon/Items
LMG is now called Avalanche.
Shotgun is now called Pursuer.
Handcannon is now called Adjudicator.
Pump Shotgun is now called Ambush.
Sniper Rifle is now called Sentinel.
SMG is now called Skirmish.
Pulse Rifle is now called Illuminate.
Laser is now called Nemesis.
Healing Gun is now called Conduit.
Grenade Launcher is now called Vandal.
New Abilities
Fissure: Channels a significant energy surge at a designated point, causing flames to burst from the ground. This eruption inflicts quantum damage and applies stacks of "Ablaze" to enemies within a 5-meter radius. Generates a burning area that lasts for 4 seconds, initially covering the same radius. This area applies an additional stack of "Ablaze" to all enemies each second and doubles its size over its duration.
Smash: Unleashes a devastating ground smash, sending out a shockwave that ripples up to 15 meters in a 7.5-meter-wide cone. Enemies in its path take heavy material damage plus an extra 5% of the player’s max health. Foes caught in the blast are stunned for 0.5 seconds, then crippled by a 20% slow for 1 second.
Hoarfrost (Ultimate): Hurl an ice ball projectile that travels 15 meters before detonating or upon impact with any object. The blast unleashes quantum damage across a 9-meter radius, rooting enemies in place and layering on stacks of Frostbite.
Deploy Lurker (Ultimate): Deploys a stealthy mine that burrows into the ground, cloaking itself near-invisible and immune to the area of effect damage. Triggers an explosion that deals quantum damage instantly within a 10m radius, plus additional quantum damage over 5 seconds. Affected enemies are also slowed by 20% for the duration.
Short Circuit (Ultimate): Shock all enemies within a 10-meter radius, inflicting quantum damage while stunning them. For each enemy player hit, the user receives boosts of 5% fire rate, 5% movement speed, 4 HP regeneration, and 2 energy regeneration. Hitting enemy players also results in a 10% reduction in the user's cooldowns, including Short Circuit.
Lifebinders Respite (Ultimate): Generate an immediate aura of healing energy, instantly restoring 20 HP to the caster and all allies within a 9-meter radius. Further, maintain a sustained healing aura lasting for 7 seconds, providing HP regeneration per second to all allies in the area. Allies within the healing aura, including the caster, receive 50 extra maximum HP, a 15% increase in movement speed, and a 20% enhancement in healing received from all sources.
Reworked Abilities
Self Heal: Renamed to Flowbind and now also reduces damage taken for the duration.
Shield: Renamed to Fluxcloak. Reduces damage received for 2 seconds, then heals the user for a flat amount plus 50% of damage taken. Removes 3 stacks of elemental debuffs.
Blink Dash: Renamed to Phase Dash. Now, it applies a stealth effect after dashing, making the user hard to see.
Life Steal: Renamed to Drain. Launch a tether that locks onto the first enemy hit, binding them for a duration. It pulses quantum damage, siphoning a percentage of the damage dealt to heal the user while activating weapon life steal. If no target is found, the ability does not activate.
Turret: Renamed to Deploy Guardian and has a new visual redesign. Now, it has a short build time. No longer inherits player stats and instead gains stats per player level. Inflicts quantum damage instead. Now, it has two charges and can have two placed at once.
Healing Sphere: Renamed to Flowburst. Creates an expanding sphere of energy that heals allies and harms enemies. Reduced healing to self and reduced damage to minions.
Rally Allies: Renamed to Inspire. Grants increased damage dealt, reduced damage taken and life steal on abilities to you and allies near you for the duration. Allies receive a stronger buff and stacks at 50% effectiveness.
Rocket Strike: Renamed to Flux Barrage. Now, it deals damage to all enemies in the target area on each strike.
Haste Support: Renamed to Tailwind. Now, it grants movement speed and increased fire rate to nearby allies for a duration when cast (not an aura).
Nuke (ultimate): Renamed to Skyfall and reworked visual effects. Damage reduction and now leaves the ground burnt and poisoned.
Healing Station: Renamed to Deploy Lifebinder and is no longer an ultimate.
Supercharge: Reloads your weapon on use.
Grenade: Renamed to Frag Grenade and deals material damage now.
Healing Grenade: Renamed to Bloom. Provides reduced healing to the caster, minions, and deployables.
Incendiary Rounds: Renamed to Incinerate.
Flameburst Grenade: Renamed to Scorch.
Ice Grenade: Renamed to Rime.
Toxic Grenade: Renamed to Contaminate.
