With so many new blockchain game companies formulating over the years, finding good, reliable companies to trust can be daunting. With the inception of blockchain technology and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), video games now have a way to verify ownership and give power back to the players.  But what are some great companies to begin your Web3 gaming adventure with?

 

Below is a list of 8 blockchain game companies leading the charge.

Immutable also hosts over 200+ games on its blockchain and is a great destination for gamers at every level.

Web3 Events Update - Aus Crypto Con 2024 recap

 

The PLAYA3ULL GAMES team of Michael (Credi3ULL), Ben (Transforma3ULL),  Emily (Imagina3ULL), and Daelum (Likea3ULL)  made the hard-to-beat 3ULLish team at the Australian Crypto Convention in Sydney, Australia, on November 23-24, 2024. PLAYA3ULL GAMES was a registration sponsor for Aus Crypto Con. This included a nifty booth, a panel talk, and a presentation about the state of crypto gaming and how PLAYA3ULL GAMES are innovating within the web3 space. We even had a mechanical 3ULL ride to celebrate the Q4 bull run!

PLAYA3ULL GAMES wins crypto gaming at the Australian Crypto Convention 2024

The PLAYA3ULL GAMES team of Michael (Credi3ull), Ben (Transforma3ULL),  Emily (Imagina3ULL), and Daelum (Likea3ULL)  had the pleasure of attending the Australian Crypto Convention in Sydney, Australia on November 23-24, 2024. PLAYA3ULL GAMES was a registration sponsor for Aus Crypto Con. This included a nifty booth, panel talk, and a presentation about the state of crypto gaming and how PLAYA3ULL GAMES are innovating within the web3 space. We even had a mechanical 3ULL ride to celebrate the Q4 bull run!

Leveraging the excitement at our booth

The 3ULL ride was a popular attraction at Aus Crypto Con.

 

The whole weekend was filled with excitement, and many new faces discovered PLAYA3ULL GAMES at our booth. We showed off our fantastic collection of games like NEXUS and ORDINEM, and people took the opportunity to share their details (either when registering their tickets or at our booth) to receive an exclusive 3ULL Coin drop after the event concluded.  Meeting the local Australian community was also an incredible experience, as we were the only crypto gaming company at the conference.

Our mechanical 3ULL ride was a HUGE success!  Riders eagerly tested their endurance, challenging themselves to see how long they could hold on.  The top 10 riders with the best times shared in the total prize pool of $1,500 USD paid in 3ULL Coins. Everyone who participated in the 3ULL ride competition received merchandise from PLAYA3ULL GAMES. 

 

Presenting WTF is Crypto Gaming & Why is it important?

The atmosphere was electric as our CEO, Michael, gave a 25-minute overview of crypto gaming and its importance.  Included in the presentation was:

• The explosive growth of the gaming industry

• How gaming can be the bridge to true mass adoption of Web3

• The rise of Web3 gaming and how we got here

• Key pitfalls and solutions for ensuring Web3 gaming is successful

• How PLAYA3ULL GAMES is approaching this new frontier

 

Another key topic was the distinction between Web2 and Web3 gaming.  This included comparing limited ownership (Web2) vs actual player ownership in the form of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) for Web3.  Additionally, the play-and-earn model showcased how gamers can now generate real-world value. The presentation was insightful, and the crowd visited the PLAYA3ULL GAMES booth afterwards to learn more.

PLAYA3ULL GAMES hosted a great panel at the NEXA theatre that covered ‘Why 2025 could be the most transformative year for crypto gaming.’  It was moderated by Ivan Vantagiato (Crypto Serpent), with panellists Simone Clow (Zebrar), Ida Mok (W3GG), Alistair Rennie (Protocol Theory), and Michael Hanlon (PLAYA3ULL GAMES).

 

The panel revolved around the significant hurdles Web3 gaming encounters, including scalability challenges, user retention issues, and concerns about the sustainability of economic models. Security risks and the complexities of regulation compound these problems. However, technological advancements and more player-focused design approaches offer pathways to improvement. PLAYA3ULL GAMES is a compelling example of innovation within this evolving space.
